National Institute of Technology(NIT) is the only school that is registered with the WA Curriculum Council and authorized to deliver Australian Curriculum to local and international students in China . The beautiful park like campus is located in Chaoyang District Beijing, 15 minutes from the Capital Airport and 25 Minutes from the City Centre (Guomao). NIT has formed cooperation with over 100 universities and schools in Australia , UK , USA , New Zealand etc. Over 1800 students have been sent abroad to receive further education.
NIT current has about 1600 student, over 300 staff members including 30 foreign teachers. We are now looking for professional and energetic teachers to join our academic team.
Positions available: ESL teachers
Starting Date: 22 June 2009
Contract: One year minimum and renewable
Job Requirement:
Bachelors Degree and above
TESOL/TEFL certificate preferred
Experience: two years and above
Duties:
Preparing teaching materials and teach according to the curriculum framework
Class management
Fostering students learning skills and record students progress
Report directly to the Head of Academic Affairs
Close liaison with other members of staff
Attending teachers' teaching planning sessions and professional development sessions
Attending school meetings
Participate in School events
Benefits:
Salary: 8k to 12k depending on background and experience
Contract Completion Bonus: subject to performance evaluation
