Director of Studies (One position for September 2013) This position is confidential and should not be discussed with anybody except Mr. Jones, the director of education at Golden Apple.   Salary: negotiable but definitely above 10,000 RMB per month depending on experience   We require one director of studies and training for September 2013   Candidates must have: ·         At least 5 years experience teaching the early years within a kindergarten setting. ·         A proven record at training and mentoring teachers ·         A proven record at managing teachers effectively and caringly ·         An ability to balance the needs of employees with that of the schools ·         A good understanding of the kindergarten business ·         Significant understanding of ESL teaching theory and practice including an understanding of: o        Constructivist curriculum and teaching practices o        Deductive and inductive learning styles o        Active learning techniques o        Different professional development strategies Creative ability to participate in the design of curriculum materials
