Introduction of Changchun Experimental High School

　　Changchun Experimental High School is one of the key high schools first established in Jilin Province. She is well known as a national exemplary school with modern educational techniques, a national exemplary school for the education of the high school students’ mental health, a national school possessing excellent traditional sports games, a Jilin exemplary school with electrical audio-visual aiding education, a member of UNESCO club. She has gained the laurels of Jilin Model Collectivity, Jilin Educational Advanced Collectivity, Changchun Advanced School of Education and Scientific Research etc. The school commits herself to cultivating students~ innovation and practical skills. 　　Changchun Experimental High School has gone through over 80 years as a historic one. Her predecessors has ever been 'Commercial School of Man Tie Co., Ltd ' established by Japan in 1923 and 'Changchun Normal School' & 'Jilin Provincial Changchun Advanced High School' established by Kuomintang in 1946, respectively. Then, Jilin Provincial Changchun Advanced High School was born on Sep.19, 1949, which is the most famous high school of the time. In 1962, she was named 'Changchun Experimental High School'. During the period of Great Cultural Revolution, she was renamed 'Changchun No.67 High School' in 1968. After the revolution, her name was changed back and kept till now.

　　By over half-century of running the school, the school has formed the fine tradition and school culture of 'Be brave in exploring, innovating, reforming and practicing' and 'venturing to be the forerunner'. All the generations have devoted themselves to the school’s growing since her establishment. And the generations of the school leaders have cooperated with teachers and students to erect the school spirits of 'solidarity, diligence, being realistic, innovation' and the study style of 'finding and asking, thinking and doing'. The achievements are obtained in moral education, teaching, experimental teaching innovation, cultural and physical education and general affairs.
　　So far, Changchun Experimental High School has run to the top as an internationally known school with the outstanding teaching team, excellent equipment, good management and high teaching quality. 　　Changchun Experimental High School is modernly equippedas the largest-scale school in Jilin province. The north area of school is located at Xi Er Tiao Street No.13 in Kuan Cheng istrict, with one classes building, one general building (containing a modern gym) and one teachers~ dormitory building. The improvement of the teaching quality is highly supported by physical labs, chemical labs and biological labs with advanced equipment, together with audio room, computer room, multimedia room, electro-room, theaters with different size, art gallery, students reading room and etc. The campus is surrounded by trees and the quiet environment provides an ideal place for studying. The south area of school is located in Jing Yue Tan area, a famous scene site. The campus area is 20 hectare and the building area is up to 130 thousand square meters. The modern classed building, experimental building, library and technical museum are built up, together with a gym holding 2000 people, in which there is a 200-meter racetrack. In addition, rainproof playground, students' dormitory and dinning hall are also the parts of the school. The south area of school is a new silvan school area at international level.
　　Changchun Experimental High School processes the first-class teaching quality, with which the generations of students grow up quickly. The rate of enrolling college has kept above 95% since 1980, with 70% entering the primary universities. In college entrance examination, senior high school entrance examination, unified exams and the contests of different subjects, Changchun Experimental High School always has excellent performance. In unified exams, school keeps running the first in Jilin. The first prizes are won in national mathematical, physical, chemical and other contests.
